RFX has launched the RFX Digital Artist Workstation — a deskside system designed, assembled, and supported in-house for VFX and animation production — and is marking SIGGRAPH 2026 with special pricing of up to $2,000 off every build.

SIGGRAPH 2026 runs 19–23 July at the Los Angeles Convention Center, a short drive from the RFX facility in Hollywood.

Built for production

The Digital Artist Workstation is built on the AMD Ryzen CPU platform. The standard configuration pairs a 16-core AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D with 64GB of DDR5-6000 memory, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 with 32GB of GDDR7, and a 2TB PCIe Gen4 NVMe drive, running Windows 11 Pro.

Every component is configurable. Memory scales to 192GB, graphics run up to the NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell with 96GB of VRAM, and a second NVMe drive can be added for cache or scratch.

The platform underneath is the same on every build: an ASUS WS B850M-ACE SE motherboard with server-grade IPMI for remote management, dual 10Gb and 2.5Gb ethernet, full PCIe 5.0 bandwidth for GPU and NVMe, a Fractal Design North XL chassis, a 1200W 80+ Platinum Seasonic Vertex power supply, and a 360mm AIO liquid cooler.

Assembled and tested in Hollywood

Every workstation is assembled, cable-managed, burn-in tested for 24 hours and benchmark-validated by RFX before it ships, and is covered by a one-year warranty on parts, labor and tech support.

RFX has supplied the visual effects industry since 1978, and our hardware runs at top Hollywood VFX and animation studios delivering feature films, television, and immersive productions.
